Vietnam is a country of contradictions: traditional yet modern, old yet new, slow yet fast. We spent one week in Hanoi, the capital in the north of the country, then another week in the south in Saigon (now known as Ho Chi Minh City). During that time, we learned a lot about the history and culture of the country in all its tragedy and glory.
